The SEA C49 circle low voltage DC servo drive is the smallest product in the SEA MOTION Ring series. It still utilizes a DSP+FPGA architecture, giving it extremely powerful data processing capabilities. The SEA C49 supports EtherCAT and CANopen bus communication protocols and supports feedback from various mainstream encoders. The SEA C49 has 6 digital input ports and 2 digital output ports.
The hollow ring structure allows the product to be easily installed into motors and joint modules.
In terms of rated current, the SEA C49 supports a maximum bus current of 25A, corresponding to an effective continuous current of 17.7A, and a maximum continuous output power of 2000W. The C49's structure continues the design of the bottom power module, with the drive module and control module arranged sequentially upwards.
The biggest advantage of the ring-shaped hollow structure is its suitability for circular products, such as DC servo motors and joint modules.

The SEA C49 has a bus rated current of 1-25A, a continuous effective current of 0.7-17.7A, and a maximum continuous output power of 80-2000W.
Like other SEA MOTION series products, the SEA C49 supports feedback from absolute encoders, incremental encoders, Hall, analog and resolvers. It also supports dual feedback, either incremental + absolute or Hall + absolute.
In terms of data processing, the SEA C49 has a current loop bandwidth greater than a 4kHz closed loop, a current sampling time of 40-125μs, a current sampling rate of 25kHz, and a current commutation frequency of 3kHz.
Like all SEA MOTION series low voltage DC servo drives, the SEAC49 can be applied to almost all high-end applications. It features a toroidal hollow core, small size, high power output, and supports most encoder feedback methods, including dual feedback.
The product boasts high bandwidth and linearity, with the SEA C49 offering a maximum continuous output power of 2000W. However other products in the SEA MOTION series offer even higher output power and support higher currents.
